Through well-designed and flexible regulatory mechanisms, the company contributes to preventing shortages, limiting excessive price increases, and ensuring a regular and stable supply to national markets, thereby preserving citizens’ purchasing power and strengthening the stability of the agricultural sector.

Chief Executive Officer
Core Missions
The establishment of SARPA was driven by the need to improve the management of agricultural product flows at the national level. Price fluctuations of food products and irregular market supply in Algeria represent a real challenge for both the economy and consumers. In this context, SARPA aims to:
Organize national markets
SARPA intervenes to ensure a balanced relationship between the supply and demand of agricultural products.
Manage stocks
We oversee the management of agricultural product stocks in order to prevent shortages, particularly during periods of high demand.
Ensure market supply
We ensure the continuous supply of agricultural products to markets, even during crises or fluctuations in agricultural production.
Support local producers
One of our priorities is to support farmers and local producers by facilitating their access to markets and improving the management of their harvests.
Develop a strategy for exporting surplus production to international markets
In the event of a surplus of agricultural products stored by SARPA at the national level, the company seeks to establish a strategy for exporting the surplus, identify targeted international markets, and align the national supply with global quality standards. This approach aims to strengthen Algeria’s presence in international markets and support the national economy.
Who We Are
The Algerian Company for the Regulation of Agricultural Products (SARPA) was established in August 2023 by order of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The Algerian Company for the Regulation of Agricultural Products operates under the supervision of the major public industrial group AGROLOG (Agro Logistique), a historic player in Algeria’s agri-food sector since 1957. In this framework, SARPA functions as a strategic instrument of the State for the regulation and organization of agricultural markets.

SARPA works to implement effective mechanisms for market regulation aimed at ensuring transparency and stability in commercial transactions, while maintaining a sustainable balance between supply and demand.
